$125 Giveaway to Uncommon Goods

by Grace Boyle on December 5, 2013

The holidays are my favorite time of the year! It’s time to hunker down and get cozy. I love snow. Entertaining and holiday parties are abound. Sparkles. Giving thanks. Good food and family. Travels to loved ones. A sense of renewal for the new year to soon begin.

Part of my holiday favoritism is my annual foodie gift guide I do here. Part of the gift guide included some items on Uncommon Goods – a privately owned retailer out of Brooklyn that provides unique designs and handcrafted gifts, that are created in harmony with the environment.

Uncommon GoodsFrom the foodie and entertaining side of things they have some lovely artisan goodies which you can see here and they’ve even carved out an area for unique Christmas gifts which you can view here.

Dining and Entertainment Uncommon Goods

Going beyond my gift guide, they’ve outlined their own carefully curated gift guide from bloggers covering gifts for foodies, stocking stuffers, gifts for hostesses and more which you can preview here. They make the discovery and shopping process easy, yet fun.

This is why I’m excited to be partnering with them in offering a $125 gift certificate to one lucky Grace(full) Plate reader to Uncommon Goods. This is a great opportunity, especially in time for the holidays.

One of the reasons Uncommon Goods is so special is that they really provide a platform for artists and designers to feature their work. I was impressed to learn that half of what they sell is made by hand and many of the products are made domestically, in the United States. They feature Inside the Artists Studio on their blog, by highlighting great artists and what makes them tick and also host unique design challenges to the community. It’s clear they play a clear part in their community, which you don’t see everyday.

True to their tagline: creative living. mindful giving. I think there’s something unique for everyone here which is why I’m happy to support them.
