Imagine a knock on your door and sitting on your doorstep is a brown box filled with fresh, organic produce of seasonal vegetables and fruit wrapped in carefully wrapped, recycled brown paper.

It’s Door to Door Organics.

My (dirty) doorstep and the special delivery!

Not only are you effortlessly promoting health and taking out that extra grocery-shopping trip but it also supports local farms and you’re eating organic. The service is convenient and almost all deliveries are free (depending on your location).

My recent Door to Door Organics box was filled with seasonal vegetables and fruits but they also allow you to select groceries as part of their shopping options.

Their boxes available are:

The Bitty: Perfect starter box for the single cook, roommates, or a couple.

The Small: A good size for a couple that cooks, and might have a small child.

The Medium: Works for a hearty vegetarian couple, or a family with a couple of veggie and fruit minded children.

The Large: Should satisfy the needs of most any family, and if not you can always order more.

Social:

Door to Door Organics is social. Check out their blog, “Like” them on Facebook for the latest news and product updates and you can find them on Twitter, too.

Incorporating healthy eating into my lifestyle is something I strive to do every day – for me personally, it’s cutting out sugars as much as possible. I do this by swapping out club soda for pop, or just having a small treat rather than a large one.

I also opt for whole grains instead of simple carbs (avoiding white breads, etc.). I’ve also switched to Greek yogurt, olive oil on my salads instead of creamy dressing, and only ONE packed of sugar in the raw in my coffee!

Love this idea, so awesome to have organic produce shipped to your door!

I don’t drink soda anymore and my alcohol consumption has decreased a lot in the past few months. I like the “greens” portion of my dinners to take up at least half of the plate, if not more.

I love this, such an awesome giveaway- for me I try to make sure whatever I’m eating makes me FEEL alive; lots of fruit and veggies- my goal is to always have a “COLORFUL PLATE” ….Since I’m fairly simple with my cooking a lot of the time I just chop up a whole lot of veggies and sautee them with a little olive oil, garlic, lemon and basil. DEELICCCIOUS.

First of all THANK YOU for supporting such an amazing company!

To incorporate healthy eating habits I have been a vegetarian for the past four years and I cook almost all my meals now and only eat Organic. I try to incorporate as much color as possible into my meals and I cook with olive oil mainly. I also have been experimenting with raw meals as I know that many important nutrients are lost when one cooks the veggies. Along with that I have been soaking my nuts so as to break down the enzyme inhibitors.

On top of EVERYTHING my most important practice is to cook, create, and ingest meals with love. Giving the love back to mother nature that she gives us providing such tasty food. :)

I’m not entering because I’m not in the places that offer this, but I wanted to say this is an awesome giveaway and a wonderful company. I’m blessed to have three major farmer’s markets and c-ops without 10-30 minutes (and a family garden), but some people are not. Love it.

“What are you doing to incorporate more healthy eating habits into your life?”

While this is not an easy task whatsoever, but I will say that as an amateur chef that has been making pizza and other dishes from scratch since the age of 8, using the freshest and finest ingredients makes for the best food. Many times, that also means the healthiest. So, if I were to win this giveaway, my family and close friends would reap the benefits of me doing so via getting to partake in a few dishes I prepare with the offerings.

Maybe then they will be inspired to live, eat, and be healthier.

    Will

I am trying to cut out all the sugary and salty processed snacks and substitute them with fresh fruit and vegetables. I am also trying to cut down on red meat to once or twice a month. I also just tried POM juice…….I feel better already!

What a great giveaway, we wereD2D customers for years & I’ve been thinking about checking it out again!

I always feed my family at least 2 veggies & 1 fruit with every meal. We try to make half of our plate produce! It’s not always easy.

Love what you’re up to Grace! I limit sugar as much as possible in my eating. I am also drinking more seltzer water to help me meet the cravings while not actually indulging. Working pretty well so far!
