An Introduction: Grace, Her Food, Her Love and Grace(Full)Plate

Welcome to Grace(Full)Plate.

I’m excited to be here and to have you here.

My name is Grace Boyle.

You may know me from the last two years I have been blogging over at Small Hands, Big Ideas – my personal blog where I cover everything from working in a startup, career, relationships and daily inspiration (still blogging there).

I live in Boulder, Colorado – Bon Appetit’s Foodiest Town.

Since I started my own blog, I’ve learned the ropes of blogging, attended blogging conferences and meetups (professionally and personally), created a community and met some of my closest friends. Blogging has, in short, changed many pieces of my life.

Why Grace(Full)Plate?

I have a lifelong love affair with food. I love being in the kitchen, cooking for loved ones, wining and dining, trying new restaurants, trying different cuisine and sharing LIFE over food.

After a foodie inspired trip to Taos, New Mexico I was itching to write about the hidden restaurants we uncovered and share the beautiful stories I saw and experienced. After working in blogging, and blogging on my own, I felt it was time to turn the tables for the food stories I couldn’t wait to share. Then, the blog came.

Pretty Design:

The incredible and smart Andrew Norcross built and designed this blog from scratch. I knew if I cared this much about food, I should care that much about how this blog looked and operated. I have to thank Norcross for this. I couldn’t recommend him more for WordPress design and development.

The Lowdown:

I am not a professional, a chef or an acclaimed food critic.

I love food. I love cooking. I love being cooked for. I love restaurants. I love traveling to taste my food. I love chefs. I love restaurant owners. I love farmers. I love anything, food.

All this will be chronicled here.

Expect interviews, reviews, recipes and straight up, food. And if you have ideas, let me know.

Check out the About page for more background.

Thanks for being here for this wild ride. Come back again soon, it’s going to be fun (and delicious).
