I’m really big into condiments.
Favorites include mustards, spicy ketchup, blue cheese and BBQ sauces. For salad dressings I like trying new flavors – non-traditional, if you will.
I recently had the opportunity to expand my condiment/dressing love with Marzetti’s Simply Dressed dressings.
Their flavors include the likes of champagne, strawberry poppyseed, coleslaw, ginger sesame and the one I tasted, pomegranate.
What I really like about Marzetti’s Simply Dressed is that they’re much more than dressing and are great for incorporating into dishes like a bake, turkey meatloaf or as part of a sandwich. Before even considering checking them out (condiment lover) I noted that there’s no high fructose corn syrup in the ingredients and the ingredients don’t contain preservatives.
The pomegranate had a nice blend of salt without being too sweet with pomegranate. I loved the sweet with savory. I dress my salad for work, sprinkled with goat cheese, homemade breadcrumbs toasted with pepper and cucumber.
